Easy Installation. Installing the sensor is reasonably straightforward. The old sensor will be either behind the front grille or in the front bumper. To disconnect the wiring harness that connects to it, gently squeeze the push tab. It might be stubborn to detach, so you may need to use a tool to pry it loose, just be careful not to damage the connector. Next, remove the clip from the old sensor and slide the new sensor on. Then reconnect it to the wiring harness and clip the assembly back into place.
12-Month or 12,000-Mile Warranty. Crown Automotive is confident its sensor will be free from manufacturing defects for at least 12 months or 12,000 miles. Otherwise, if failures are found with regular use, they may offer a replacement. Exclusions may apply.
