The Anderson Composites Type-RE Hellcat Redeye Hood is engineered to enhance vehicle performance by reducing weight while maintaining structural strength and style. Its functional dual snorkel design improves engine airflow, making it ideal for high-performance and racing applications.
Construction and Appearance. This hood is crafted using a vacuum infusion process with 3K, 2×2 twill carbon fiber cloth. A marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to a high luster finish, providing durability and protection against environmental elements while delivering an attractive gloss appearance.
Installation. Installation typically requires minor adjustments and uses original equipment hardware, which is not included. No drilling is generally necessary. Professional installation is recommended to ensure optimal fitment.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2008 to 2023 Dodge Challenger models, excluding the SRT Demon. It is compatible with the Redeye Air-Grabber intake system for enhanced engine performance.
