These BBK 1-7/8-Long Tube Headers will greatly improve your Camaro’s exhaust flow over the restrictive factory manifolds and increase your car’s rear wheel horsepower and torque. Significant increases of rear wheel horsepower have been seen when installed with a matching BBK Shorty X pipe or Midpipe Adapter.
Quality Construction. BBK Long Tube Exhaust headers are manufactured from 1-5/8–inch, CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. These Headers feature 1-piece, laser-cut, 3/8-inch header flanges for additional strength, leak-free performance and a OEM fit. These headers are then completed in a Titanium Ceramic finish for good looks and a long life.
Tuning Recommended. Installation of these BBK Long Tube Headers doesn’t require the use of a tuner to reprogram the vehicle’s computer or ECU for operation, but it’s recommended. By reprogramming your Camaro’s ECU, you can maximize the full potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer.
Additional Required Upgrades for Installation. Installation requires Mid pipe Kit #40441 and O2 Wire Harness Extensions (Sold Separately). O2 Wire Harness Extensions Part #1113 is required for ALL Automatic transmission applications only – 1 drivers side front & 1 drivers side rear. O2 Wire Harness Extensions Part #1122 Front Kit and Part #11221 Rear Kit are required for all Manual Transmission applications. Minor cutting and welding are required for installation.
