Engineered as a direct fit upgrade, the combination of Bilstein’s Heavy Duty (HD) Shocks and Struts with Eibach’s Pro-Kit Lowering Springs will transform your V8 powered S197 Mustang into a whole new beast.
Heavy Duty Design. The Bilstein HD Series Shocks and Struts are a heavy duty upgrade that feature a steel bodied, gas pressurized monotube construction. Complete with dust covers, a yellow exterior and necessary installation hardware, these high performance dampers will significantly improve your driving experience without sacrificing ride quality.
Monotube Technology. Even though the HD components aren’t adjustable, their unique deflective-disc valve design allows for instantaneous self-adjustment to changing road conditions. The patented monotube allows for a larger piston size than twin-tube dampers and will provide better heat dissipation.
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs. Included in this suspension package are the well known Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs. Designed to lower your Pony’s center of gravity, reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nose-dive under heavy braking, these springs will also help rid your Mustang of that stock 4×4 look. Estimated Drop: Front – 1.3″, Rear – 1.4″.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. The Eibach lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle’s pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.
Application. This Bilstein Shock, Strut & B12 Pro-Kit Lowering Spring Kit is specifically designed for use on the 2005-2010 GT Mustangs, including coupe or convertible models.
