Starting in 2005 Ford changed the spare wheel and jack mounting designed to include two mounting bolts. This mounting hook / bolt is designed to hold the jack in its proper position. This bolt / hook is designed to go thru the mounting hole located on the jack itself. So if you are looking for the proper hardware to mount your spare jack look at picking up on of these original hooks from NPD!
