Description
Advanced Electric Water Pump. The Davies Craig EWP150 Black Remote Electric Water Pump; 12-Volt is designed to enhance engine cooling performance, particularly in high horsepower or forced induction engines where extra coolant flow is crucial. It functions as a remote-mounted unit to replace or supplement the mechanical water pump, effectively managing excessive engine heat and improving overall cooling efficiency. This pump supports performance engines while contributing to increased power delivery and extended engine life.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from powder-coated aluminium, this electric water pump features a matt black finish that combines durability with an attractive, low-profile design. The pump incorporates a ceramic face seal and a volute chamber centrifugal design to provide robust, high-flow operation under demanding conditions. Internal fittings include professional-grade -16AN ORB threaded connections for secure integration into custom cooling systems.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill with potential minor modifications such as drilling small holes in the thermostat plate to maintain coolant circulation. The pump can be installed as an auxiliary or replacement unit in the bottom radiator hose, allowing flexibility depending on driver requirements and vehicle setup.
Application. Fits Universal; Some Adaptation May Be Required.
