Crafted from high carbon alloyed iron for superior heat tolerance and durability, this brake ring incorporates aerospace grade T6061-T6 aluminum hats connected by National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. The rotor’s surface features a mix of cross drilled holes and dimples for enhanced cooling and structural support. The unit is finished with painted non-friction areas to resist rust and maintain clean aesthetics.
Installation. Installation involves straightforward bolt-on replacement without the need for additional drilling. The two-piece design allows for easier serviceability by enabling replacement of either the hat or rotor ring independently, simplifying maintenance and lowering cost.
