For a 351 engine build with a deep rear sump oil pan, Ford Racing Parts’s part number M-6622-DRS351 is the perfect solution. This unit features a high-flow funnel-style pickup, similar to the one used in Mustang Cobra 4.6L 4V engines, and is designed with 3/4″ thin wall diameter tubing to reduce vibration fatigue. It’s compatible with both deep rear sump oil pans and Ford Racing Parts part number M-6675-DRS351, making it a top-notch choice for any 351 engine build.

Installation Note:
This Ford Racing Parts unit, featuring part number M-6622-DRS351 does not include a new oil pump pickup tube mounting gasket required to complete the installation, and can be sourced from NPD using either part number M-6626-5 (original) or part number 6626-1 (replacement style).
For a complete installation of the oil pump and pickup tube, NPD offers part number M-6600-2ARP, which includes the necessary mounting hardware to ensure a proper fit on your 351 engine.
For Ford Racing Parts Z Aluminum block or M-6009-460 BOSS short block builds, NPD recommends using part number M-6622-351RSA, which is specifically designed to work with M-6675-DRS351 oil pans.
Note:
For a 460 engine with a deep rear sump oil pan, NPD recommends using part number M-6622-460RS, the correct pickup tube option for your engine build.
