Dress Up Your LS Engine. This Holley Performance LS Trussed Valley Cover; Black Anodized will do wonders for the look of your LS engine. Built strong, this cover has an integrated oil fill neck with billet aluminum oil fill cap for your Camaro.
Construction and Appearance. This cover is precision manufactured from billet aluminum with the trussed design. There’s a smooth underside for the elimination of Displacement-on-Demand and instead features an ample gasket sealing surface and provisions for putting the oil pressure sensor back on if needs be. The anodized black finish looks amazing.
Installation. Putting this on your car is relatively easy, however, the manufacturer added, “if it is your intent to use the top mounted factory oil pressure sensor on LS2/LS3/LS7/LSX engines, you will need to carefully drill and tap the oil pressure sensor provision using the pre-located pilot hole on the bottom of the valley cover. The hole should be drilled and tapped to accept an M16 x 1.5 male NPT fitting. If using for DOD Delete you must drill and tap all 8 oil port holes 1/8-NPT and install plugs in the oil ports or loss of oil pressure will occur.”
