As crankcase pressure is vented back into your engine, it can carry with it oil vapors that can eventually turn into performance-robbing sludge. This oil separator works by trapping these oil vapors before they accumulate. This ensures your Mustang always performs at its peak.
Specialized Design. This passenger side oil separator features a specially designed filtration system consisting of a stainless steel mesh and an aluminum honeycomb filter. This system functions by trapping the oil vapors that accompany the vented crankcase pressure. Over time, the accumulated oil condenses and settles onto the bottom of the catch can till it’s ready to be dumped out. What’s more, the catch can’s 3-ounce capacity translates to about 3,000 miles of driving before it needs to be emptied.
Hardwearing Build Quality. The passenger side oil separator is precision-machined from hardwearing aluminum alloy, offering exceptional durability without the added weight. The base of the catch can is then machined with knurlings that allow it to be opened even when greasy.
