This unit is made from the original ford mold that made them for the assembly line. These units are usually broken from the stress at the base of the hook. These units are designed to fit and function like original. They feature the correct surface grain texture like originals.

Note:

See M-06064-135 for correct Original catch / striker assembly that is still available from Ford.

Restoration Note:

These 2001-04 versions will not fit cars with the recessed holder that came as an option on some 2003-04 models. This is due to the latch location being slightly different.
