Construction and Appearance. Built from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter features a corrosion-resistant clam-shell body finished in stainless steel. Its durable construction includes single laser fusion welds and 308 stainless steel MIG welds to minimize leaks, complemented by an aluminized steel heat shield for enhanced durability.
Installation. Professional welding is required for installation due to the compact, low-mass design. No clamps or hangers are included with this unit, so welding the catalytic converter in place is necessary. The design allows installation in tight spaces but may require careful positioning.
Warranty. This catalytic converter is backed by a limited emissions warranty and a 5-year construction warranty for added confidence. Application. It is specifically designed to fit the 06-07 5.7L HEMI Charger without any known exclusions or special notes.
