Constructed with a volcanic lava rock outer layer combined with a 96% silica fiber inner layer, this blanket offers superior thermal resistance with a maximum internal heat rating of 2300°F. It features a durable, fire-retardant finish designed to withstand prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.
Installation. Installation requires careful handling due to the presence of loose glass fibers, so always wear protective gloves. No drilling is necessary. Ensure the blanket is properly fitted without contacting any moving turbo components to maintain safety and durability. Note that the blanket is not designed to be removed and reinstalled multiple times, as the material can become rigid and brittle over time.
