Crafted with a nitro-carburized piston rod for resistance to scuffing and corrosion, this strut incorporates double-welded loops and an application-specific sintered iron piston for structural strength. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, finished with a durable painted texture, and protected by a polyvinyl boot to ensure longevity in various conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced technicians and requires no drilling. It requires the reuse of original equipment springs and upper mounting components, with the addition of a coil spring spacer kit to achieve proper vehicle leveling.
Warranty. This strut is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, providing confidence in its long-term reliability and performance.
Application. Specifically designed for the 2015-2020 Tahoe models without Magnetic Ride Control, it raises the front suspension by 2 inches and requires the use of OE springs and the RS70075 coil spring spacer kit to level the rear of the vehicle with the front.
