The Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors and Red Calipers provides superior stopping power by replacing factory rear disc brakes while integrating the original equipment parking brake assembly. Designed to complement front big brake upgrades, it enhances brake performance, durability, and style for high-performance vehicles with advanced braking needs.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features AERO4 four-piston calipers with stainless steel pistons and a red powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal. Rotors are Spec-37 iron with SRP drilled and slotted surfaces finished in black electro-coat to improve heat dissipation and durability. The aluminum rotor hats have a black e-coat finish and include multiple bolt circle options for fitment versatility.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical aptitude and does not require drilling of the vehicle’s axle flange. The kit mounts using existing OEM radial mount points, making it a straightforward upgrade. Detailed instructions are included to assist with the installation process.
Application. This brake kit fits 12-13 RWD Chargers excluding the SRT8 models, and 14-16 Charger R/T, SE, and SXT trims. It is not compatible with AWD, police package vehicles, or those equipped with factory Brembo calipers.
