Shortens Stopping Distances. With the Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit, you will never have to worry about stopping quickly once you press the brake pedal of your fifth-gen Ford Mustang. And that makes this kit ideal for street performance or racing on the track. Included in this package are 6-piston stainless steel calipers and 14-inch rotors, which do their part in keeping stopping distances short and sweet.
Provides Drilled and Slotted Design Benefits. With drilled holes and slots adorning their surfaces, the front rotors included in this kit have dual advantages; the ability to keep cool and never heat up and the ability to remove gasses and brake dust created from the friction between them and the brake pads. Ultimately, you will be supremely protected from brake fade, cracking, and warping.
Long-Lasting Manufacture. The calipers, rotors, and rotor hats are made from stainless steel, iron, and aluminum, respectively, to ensure strength in the face of extreme driving situations. Wilwood applies a red powder coat on the calipers, a black electro-coat on the rotors, and a black e-coat on the rotor hats to maximize corrosion resistance.
Direct Bolt-On Upgrade. Wilwood designed this front brake kit to be a direct replacement of your factory Mustang calipers and rotors. It should take you about 4 hours to complete the installation.
Application. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Drilled and Slotted Rotors SRP Curved Vane Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors is designed for use on the 2005–2014 Ford Mustang models equipped with a BMR suspension.
Application Note. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit requires the use of 18-inch or larger rims for proper clearance.
