O-RINGS, INTAKE MANIFOLD INTERCOOLER TO HOUSING CONNECTOR, ORIGINAL N802927-S, THESE O-RINGS ARE LOCATED ON THE CONNECTOR TUBES THAT GO INTO THE INTERCOOLER AS WELL AS THE FRONT SUPPLY HOUSING, 2 REQD PER TUBE, 4 REQD PER CAR
These O-rings are located on the connectors that install into the intercooler as well as the front supply housings. Each connector as two O-rings one on each end and there are a total of four O-rings. It is recommend by Ford that each time the connectors are removed that you replace the O-rings with new units to ensure that you have no coolant leaks. So if you are working on or replacing your supercharger and removal of the intercooler is required these O-rings are a must need part.
Restoration Note:
When removing the front supply housing a minimum of two O-rings will be required that go into the intercooler body. You do not need to remove the connectors from the front supply housing to replace those O-rings but not doing so may create a coolant leak so it is recommend by Ford that you replace all four O-rings. A new front supply gasket will be needed as well. See note below!
