The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, measuring 24 inches by 50 feet, is engineered to reduce heat and noise infiltration in vehicle compartments such as floors, doors, and transmission housings. Designed for use inside the vehicle, it enhances comfort by minimizing radiant heat and sound intrusion.
Construction and Appearance. This mat consists of resin-bonded silica blanket insulation sandwiched between a reflective Foil Skrim Kraft (FSK) facing on one side and foil on the other. The dual-density silica blanket functions as sound insulation, while the reflective layers act as vapor and radiant barriers. It is approximately one-half inch thick and features a durable foil finish to provide effective thermal management.
Installation. Installation is simple with the included push-in fasteners or compatible weather strip adhesives. Typically, no drilling is required, allowing for a clean and efficient application process.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer warranty for customer assurance. Application. Fits universally with some adaptation potentially needed to ensure proper fitment and coverage.
